Join us Tuesday, January 17, 11:30–1:00 for a look back + a look ahead with Bruce Hetrick.

Last Summer, one headline sent a jolt through the Indianapolis communications community:

PR firm Hetrick Communications closing shop

According to an August 30, 2011 article in the Indianapolis Business Journal, Bruce Hetrick was closing one of the largest PR firms in Indianapolis due in part to changes in the PR/marketing field.

But there’s always a story behind the story. And all good stories have an epilogue.

For our first event of 2012, Bruce Hetrick will share:

Lessons learned from leading a successful PR firm for 18 years.

Insights on the changing public relations and marketing landscape.

His plans for the future.

Join in the conversation with Bruce and other communications professionals about what lies ahead.

As the result of a successful referendum campaign in 2008, the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County secured bond funding for construction of The New Wishard Hospital.

The campaign far outreached its goal … to the extent of an unprecedented $40 million gift to the hospital from local philanthropists Sidney and Lois Eskenazi. At this point, the communication journey switched course to integrating the Eskeanazi name with the Wishard brand, while charting the future of a new healthcare brand in central Indiana.

You’ll learn how:
1. Discussions with major donors impacted Wishard’s communication leaders;
2. Planners rolled out a strategic announcement to internal audiences prior to external PR;
3. The brand is evolving into Eskenazi Health Services.
