As the result of a successful referendum campaign in 2008, the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County secured bond funding for construction of The New Wishard Hospital.
The campaign far outreached its goal … to the extent of an unprecedented $40 million gift to the hospital from local philanthropists Sidney and Lois Eskenazi. At this point, the communication journey switched course to integrating the Eskeanazi name with the Wishard brand, while charting the future of a new healthcare brand in central Indiana.
